Cutimed Sorbact Tamponade is intended for the treatment of clean, contaminated, colonized, or infected weeping wounds, such as small wound cavities and fistulas. Cutimed Sorbact Tamponade is also indicated for use in fungal infections in skin folds.

Instructions for use:
Direct wound contact is a prerequisite for effective binding of microorganisms.
For wound cavities and fistulas, unfold and puff up one or more of the dressings and fill the cavity or fistula with them. Avoid packing them too tightly. Always leave part of the dressing protruding so that it can be easily removed.
Wound management: The frequency of dressing changes depends on the amount of exudate, as well as the overall condition of the wound and the surrounding tissue. If the clinical condition allows, the dressing can remain on the wound for up to 7 days. The decision regarding the frequency of dressing changes rests with the healthcare professional. Fungal infections: Change the dressing once daily as part of wound monitoring. Continue using the dressing for 2-3 days after symptoms have subsided to prevent recurrence.
