EASYCARE OLED digital finger pulse oximeter model C101A2 has 5 essential functions: it can be used to measure saturation at the level of human hemoglobin, pulse, measure the perfusion index, plethysmogram, as well as the data analysis function for a period of time (e.g. : during sleep). The pulse oximeter is suitable for use at home, in hospitals (salons for patients), oxygen therapy units, social medical organizations or for athletes, in order to monitor performance.
Oxygen saturation represents the percentage of HbO2 in total hemoglobin, the so-called blood oxygen concentration. It is an important bio-parameter for the human body. In general, normal oxygen saturation values ​​are min. 94% If the measured values ​​are below 94%, the human body is not sufficiently oxygenated and additional medical investigations are required.
The pulse level is the indicator of the level of heart beats per minute. Normally, the pulse level is associated with blood pressure. In general, the pulse level of a healthy person is 60 ~ 90 beats per minute.
The perfusion index (IP) indicates the degree of blood irrigation of the area where the sensor was fixed. It is a relative value that varies from one patient to another. Normal values ​​in a healthy body are >3%.
The plethysmogram is a graph generated by the pulse oximeter, as a result of the analysis of the peripheral circulation, based on the recording of pulse variations.
This pulse oximeter is small, has low energy consumption, is easy to use and is portable, indicating 4 essential values ​​in the treatment of patients. The patient must insert one of the fingers into a photoelectric finger sensor for diagnosis, the screen directly displaying the measured value of hemoglobin saturation.
