Thin hydrocolloid wound dressing

DracoHydro Thin is a thin, sterile, hydrocolloid dressing for protecting the epithelial tissue of chronic and acute problem wounds. DracoHydro Thin is suitable for low-exuding wounds and for preventing pressure ulcers on healthy skin. Exudate is absorbed by the hydrocolloid dressing; it does not stick to the wound. This ensures painless, atraumatic dressing changes. DracoHydro Thin is a waterproof hydrocolloid dressing (HCV) and can be worn while showering or bathing. The dressing is transparent, allowing for monitoring of the wound's condition without the need for dressing changes. DracoHydro Thin is characterized by excellent moldability and high wearing comfort and is also suitable for use under compression. Depending on the amount of exudate, it can be worn for 4 to 6 days.

Areas of application:
Pressure ulcers, leg ulcers, diabetic foot syndrome, abrasions, iatrogenic wounds, burns up to the 2nd degree.

Skin surrounding the wound:
Intact.

Wound stages:
Necrosis, fibrin coating.

Wound healing phases:
Epithelialization phase.

Wearing time:
4 - 6 days.

Material:
Gel-forming polymers (including carboxymethylcellulose) applied to a semi-occlusive polyurethane film.
