- Elevit®1 contains 800 µg of folate (folic acid and Metafolin®). Folate plays a role in cell division, supports maternal tissue growth during pregnancy, and reduces the risk of neural tube defects in the fetus
- Elevit®1 also contains folic acid in the form of bioactive folate, called calcium L-methylfolate (Metafolin®)
- The balanced combination of folic acid and Metafolin® helps maintain optimal folic acid levels in all women in the preconception period or during the first trimester of pregnancy.
Fatigue Reduction
- Iron, vitamin B6, and vitamin B12 help reduce fatigue and exhaustion. Iron is involved in the normal formation of red blood cells (erythrocytes), which are necessary for oxygen transport throughout the body.
Immune System and Cellular Protection
- In the preconception period or during pregnancy, optimal immune system function is particularly important. Elevit®1 contains vitamin C, vitamin B6, vitamin B12, copper, and folate, which contribute to the normal function of the immune system. Vitamin C, copper, and selenium are very important antioxidants that help protect cells from oxidative stress (reactive oxygen, which can damage cellular structures).
Fertility and Hormonal Activity
- Elevit®1 contains zinc, which is important in regulating the female hormones estrogen and progesterone, with a direct impact on female fertility
- Vitamin B6 helps regulate hormonal activity
- Iodine is an important component of thyroid hormones. These hormones maintain the body's metabolic state and support normal growth and development.
Composition:
One film-coated tablet of Elevit®1 contains the following active ingredients: Vitamin A - 770 µg; Vitamin B1 (thiamine) - 1.4 mg; Vitamin B2 (riboflavin) - 1.4 mg; Vitamin B3 (niacin) - 18 mg; Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) - 6 mg; Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride) - 1.9 mg; Vitamin B7 (biotin) - 30 µg; Vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) - 2.6 µg; Vitamin C - 85 mg; Vitamin D - 5 µg; Vitamin E - 10 mg; Folic acid - 800 µg, in the form of: Pteroylmonoglutamic acid 400 µg and Metafolin®* (calcium L-methylfolate) 451 µg (equivalent to 400 µg of folic acid); Calcium - 125 mg; Magnesium - 100 mg; Iron - 14 mg; Zinc - 11 mg; Manganese - 2 mg; Copper - 1 mg; Iodine - 150 µg; Selenium - 60 µg.
*Metafolin® - biologically active form of folic acid, directly usable by the body.

Although it is considerably more expensive than what is available on the market as an alternative, the additional ingredients are important to me. I started taking the product when I wanted to have children. After two months I stopped using contraception and it worked straight away in the first cycle. I don't believe in coincidence. A healthy preparation for pregnancy creates good conditions for fertilization! I am very satisfied and am now 23 weeks pregnant.

It was important to me that my product contained metafolin, as this type of folic acid is better absorbed by the body. In a direct comparison with the competition, I chose Elevit. Good to know: the tablets are relatively large. If you have problems with this, you should perhaps choose a different product. I didn't mind the size of the tablets.
