Properties:
The new Femibion® 1 formula has the same indications but more benefits for you and your baby. Femibion® 1 - Planning and Pregnancy supports you and your baby from the planning period until week 12 of pregnancy (1st trimester). Ensuring a sufficient folate intake is essential throughout pregnancy, especially during the first trimester.
A low folate level in the mother is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the fetus.
The folates in Femibion® 1 - Planning and Pregnancy are folic acid and Metafolin®. Metafolin® is a form of folate that is directly usable by the body and does not need to be converted.
Femibion® 1 - Planning and Pregnancy contains vitamin D to support the adequate intake of this nutrient during pregnancy. Vitamin D contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system and participates in the process of normal cell division. In addition to folate and vitamin D, Femibion® 1 - Planning and Pregnancy contains: 9 other vitamins (vitamin B complex, vitamins C and E), iodine, selenium, choline and iron.
Iron contributes to the normal formation of red blood cells, haemoglobin and the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Choline contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
