ACTION AND DESCRIPTION

ODM5® is indicated to reduce corneal edema: edema caused by corneal dystrophies, post-traumatic edema, and post-surgical edema. Corneal edema is characterized by excess fluid in the cornea. ODM5®, a hypersaline solution, expels excess fluid from the cornea through osmotic action, allowing it to temporarily recover normal hydration. In this way, ODM5® helps improve your quality of vision.

COMPOSITION

5% sodium chloride, 0.15% sodium hyaluronate. Other ingredients: Purified water, trisodium citrate dihydrate, citric acid monohydrate, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose.

STORAGE AND EXPIRATION

Store at room temperature (between +2 and +25°C).

SIDE EFFECTS

In some cases, after applying the product, you may experience temporary discomfort such as a slight burning or itching sensation or temporary blurred vision.

If you experience any persistent adverse effects or side effects not described in this leaflet, stop using the product and consult your doctor.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Wash your hands thoroughly before using the solution.

Place 1 or 2 drops 4 times a day on the inside of the lower eyelid by looking up and gently pulling down the lower eyelid.

After applying the product, keep your eye closed for 1 or 2 minutes.

Avoid contact of the tip of the container with the eye or eyelids.

No rinsing required after use.

OPHTHALMIC USE. During initial use, check for the presence of the safety seal and then remove it. Remove the protective cap by pulling it upwards. Instill 1 or 2 drops into the eye. Remember to replace the cap after each use, ensuring that no residual drops remain on the dropper tip. If necessary, tap the cap firmly on your wrist.

PRECAUTIONS AND WARNINGS

Do not swallow.

Do not use after the expiry date shown on the package.

Once opened, use within three months.

Close the container carefully after each use, checking that no residual drops remain on the nozzle. If any liquid remains on the nozzle, wipe it off by shaking the container with a quick flick of your wrist. (Risk of microbial contamination.)

Do not use if the packaging is damaged (risk of microbial contamination).

Avoid any contact of the container nozzle with the eye (risk of microbial contamination).

Avoid touching or cleaning the mouthpiece with your fingers or non-sterile tissue (risk of microbial contamination).

If your doctor has prescribed other eye drops, allow at least 15 minutes between instillations.

Keep out of reach of children.

Hypersensitivity to any of its components.

Not compatible with any type of contact lenses.
