How to choose the right size of JOBST compression products - STEP by STEP measurement.

The therapeutic effect of medical compression products depends largely on the correct selection of their products, so their proper fit is crucial.

The measurement should be taken in the morning when the legs are less swollen than during the day.

Step 1: measure the circumference of your leg at the points indicated in the table:

cB – circumference of the leg at the narrowest point just above the ankle,
cB1 – circumference of the calf in its lower part (halfway between the center of the calf and the ankle, i.e. points cB and cC),
cC – circumference of the calf at its widest point,
cD – circumference below the knee (two fingers below the patella),
cG – thigh circumference (two fingers below the buttocks),
cH – circumference at the widest point of the hips,
cT – waist circumference.

Step 2: measure your leg length (LK dimension) – the distance from the base of your foot to the crotch.

Step 3: Remember to measure both legs on which you will be using the compression stocking, record the measurements for one and the other leg respectively.

Step 4: Compare your measurements to the size chart below and choose the correct size.

You should choose a size that matches most of the dimensions from the table marked during measurement.

If your measurements match between two sizes, consider the following factors:
The measurement above the ankle (cB) should be as close to the middle of the range as possible.
If your left and right legs differ significantly in size, you should select two different product sizes.

Care method

JOBST compression garments should be washed daily, if possible, or at least every other day. Regular mild detergents can be used. Avoid using laundry additives such as fabric softeners, optical brighteners, or stain removers. Rinse compression garments thoroughly after washing. Wrap wet garments in a towel and squeeze out excess water. Do not wring. Do not dry compression garments on a radiator or expose them to direct sunlight.
