Description
La Roche-Posay Effaclar serum with peeling properties was created for people with acne-prone skin. The cosmetic was tested on acne-prone skin. The formula is based on a combination of three acids and vitamin B3, where:
- Salicylic acid dissolves in fat, so in addition to its exfoliating properties, it also has the ability to penetrate deep into the skin. It can get inside the hair follicles, which is important in the treatment of acne.
- LHA (lipohydroxy acids) have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, so they promote the healing of pimples and irritations.
- Glycolic acid supports the regeneration of the epidermis.
- Vitamin B3 reduces water loss through the skin, regulates epidermal renewal processes and stimulates collagen production in fibroblasts (skin cells). It is also a powerful antioxidant, protects the skin against UV radiation and inhibits the formation of free radicals.
