High absorption capacity and exceptional skin compatibility are just two of the many properties that qualify Leukomed® for professional use. This sterile wound dressing provides reliable coverage for surgical wounds and accidental injuries of all kinds.
Leukomed® is made of transversely elastic, conformable polyester nonwoven fabric and therefore adapts very well even to highly contoured body parts. The extra-soft, absorbent wound pad made of viscose nonwoven fabric is coated with polypropylene. This prevents it from sticking to the wound and allows for a virtually painless dressing change without impairing wound healing.
Leukomed® is permeable to air and water vapor, which reduces the risk of skin maceration. The rounded corners prevent the dressing from rolling up and ensure secure fixation. Despite its good immediate and long-lasting adhesive strength, Leukomed® can be removed without leaving any residue.
Leukomed® consists of a polyester nonwoven carrier coated with polyacrylate adhesive, the wound dressing is made of a viscose nonwoven coated with polypropylene.
