Rooibos tea, Celmar
Description:
Rooibos is the Afrikaans name of a plant from southern Africa, taxonomically classified in the legume family
The name Rooibos means red bush and refers to the fact that the leaves of the plant, thin as needles and bright green, turn red after processing
The infusion of lightly fermented and dried rooibos leaves is a tea with a special, velvety taste
The velvety infusion, with a slight taste of honey, contains significant amounts of oligo- and micro-elements, as well as bioflavonoids with predominantly anti-oxidant action
Rooibos does not contain caffeine or other methylxanthines and has a low tannin content
The invigorating and comforting effect of the infusion is the sole result of the essential nutrients in this great tasting drink.
How to use:
Pour a cup of boiling water over a tea bag and leave covered for 3-5 minutes.
Remove the tea bag.
One cup of tea prepared as above, sweetened to taste, 2-3 times a day.
