Nutrison is a complete, ready-to-use nutritional solution that contains no flavourings, gluten or lactose. It is rich in Omega-3 fatty acids and other nutrients important for health.
Forms of release
Nutrison is available on the market in several forms:
- Nutrison powder, 430 g, Nutricia;
- Nutrision Energy MultiFibre, 1.5 kcal/ml, 1000 ml, Nutricia;
- Nutrison Energy Multifibre, 500 ml, Nutricia;
- Nutrison Energy, 1000 ml, Nutricia;
- Nutrison Advanced Peptisorb x 500 ml/1000 ml, Nutricia;
- Nutrison Advanced Cubison x 1000 ml, Nutricia;
- Nutrison Advanced Protison, 500 ml, Nutricia;
- Nutrison Advanced Diason x 500 ml/1000 ml, Nutricia
Indications for use
Products in the Nutricia Nutrison range, such as Nutrison Original and others, are designed for dietary management of malabsorption in diseases requiring tube feeding. They are indicated for enteral administration and can sometimes be used as the sole source of nutrition.
Dosage and method of administration
The dosage and method of use for Nutrison Nutricia vary depending on the individual product. For Nutrison Powder, add the required amount of powder to water and mix until completely dissolved. The preparation should be consumed within 2 hours. Do not store the preparation at room temperature for more than 4 hours. After opening the box, store it in a dry place and consume within 2 months of opening.
In the case of Nutrison Multi Fibre, the required amount depends on the weight, age and clinical condition of the patient and must be determined by a doctor. Shake the product before opening. Do not add or dilute other medicines in the bottle. The bottle can be consumed within 24 hours of opening and should be stored in the refrigerator during this time.
Contraindications
Nutrison should not be administered to infants or patients with galactosaemia.

Side effects
This product is generally safe. However, inform your doctor if any side effects occur.
Overdose
Follow the recommended doses and avoid overdose.
Storage
Store the product in a cool, dry place, tightly sealed – but do not refrigerate. Once opened, Nutrison powder must be kept in a cool, dry place, but not in the refrigerator – and used within 2 months of opening.
