Oligobs

Oligobs contains vitamin and mineral tablets. 

Vitamins:

• Vitamin B1 or thiamine contributes to normal energy metabolism, normal functioning of the nervous system and maintenance of mental health.
• Vitamin B2 or riboflavin contributes to the maintenance of healthy skin and mucous membranes, as well as to the maintenance of normal vision.
• Vitamin B6 contributes to normal protein and glycogen metabolism, mental health, normal red blood cell formation, normal immune system function and hormone regulation.
• Vitamin B8 or biotin contributes to normal energy metabolism and the maintenance of healthy skin, hair and mucous membranes.
• Vitamin B9 or folic acid contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy and to the process of cell division.
• Vitamin B12 contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, normal red blood cell formation, the process of cell division and normal energy metabolism.
• Vitamin D contributes to the normal absorption/utilisation of calcium and phosphorus and to the maintenance of healthy bones.

Minerals:

• Zinc contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, the maintenance of normal fertility and reproduction. It contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
• Copper contributes to the normal functioning of the immune system, normal hair and skin pigmentation, and normal iron transport in the body.
• Iodine contributes to normal thyroid hormone production and normal thyroid function.
• Selenium contributes to the maintenance of healthy hair and nails, the protection of cells from oxidative stress, and the normal functioning of the immune system and thyroid gland.
• Iron plays a role in the normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin, in reducing fatigue and exhaustion, and in the process of cell division.
• Magnesium contributes to the reduction of fatigue and exhaustion, the process of cell division, the normal functioning of the nervous system and the maintenance of mental health.

In addition to vitamin and mineral tablets, Oligobs Prenatal also contains fish oil capsules, including EPA, Omega 3 and DHA, which is obtained from food (oily fish: salmon, mackerel, etc.). DHA consumed by the mother contributes to the normal development of the brain and eyes of the foetus and breastfed baby. For this reason, DHA supplementation is recommended, especially from the second trimester (fourth month) onwards, to promote normal pregnancy development and build up reserves for the foetus.

This product is intended for adults only. The recommended dose is 1 film-coated tablet and 1 soft omega-3 capsule per day, preferably in the evening, taken with a glass of water.

For breastfeeding women, there is Oligobs Breastfeeding MBB Omega 3, a dietary supplement specifically formulated to supplement the mother's diet, providing her with a nutritional source adapted to optimise breastfeeding. It is a balanced combination of vitamins, trace elements and essential fatty acids (omega 3).

Omega 3 (of which DHA 225 mg, EPA 50 mg) is obtained from food (oily fish: salmon, mackerel, etc.). It also contains taurine, barley malt extract and brewer's yeast, which play an important role during breastfeeding.
