What is shilajit? Shilajit is a compound formed by the decomposition of plant and animal matter stored between layers of rock through the action of microorganisms in the Himalayas, Caucasus and Tibet. It helps detoxify the body by supporting liver and kidney function, balances the hormonal system, strengthens the immune system, fights free radicals and improves cognitive processes.

Shilajit mumio is usually available in the form of capsules or tablets, such as:

Indications for use
Shilajit has a detoxifying effect, helps the body absorb nutrients, ensures intracellular transport of nutrients, minerals and vitamins, thus providing the body with the energy it needs. It supports the body during prolonged physical exertion, supports memory and improves mood and mood swings. More specifically, shilajit has a remineralising, nerve tonic and antioxidant effect, supports immunity, has a vitalising role and can regulate blood sugar.
Dosage and administration
The dosage of products containing Shilajit resin varies depending on the concentration and other factors. Usually, for Shilajit capsules, 1-2 capsules/day are recommended, taken with meals for 30 days. Sometimes the dosage varies depending on body weight, as follows:
- weight up to 70 kg - 1 tablet twice a day;

Overdose
The product contains many minerals and there is a potential risk of overdose (toxic effects), especially if you take other supplements containing some of the minerals present in Shilajit on a daily basis.
