APTEO Sterile Gauze Dressings are intended for non-invasive use as a mechanical barrier (compression) or for absorbing exudate during daily care for chronic wounds, minor burns, or other skin injuries, and for microenvironmental control in surgical and non-surgical wounds, including superficial or deep abrasions and surface lesions. Gauze can also be used as a surgically invasive device to absorb blood and superficial body fluids resulting from mild to deep wounds with light to moderate drainage.
