Antiseptic ointment compress with a broad spectrum of activity

BACTIGRAS is a soft paraffin gauze dressing with chlorhexidine that acts as an adhesive barrier between the wound and the secondary dressing. This allows for atraumatic dressing changes for the patient. The open structure of the dressing allows wound exudate to easily drain into an absorbent secondary dressing. A special weave prevents fraying when the dressing is cut. BACTIGRAS is effective against a broad spectrum of germs, thus reducing the risk of bacterial colonization of the wound.

BACTIGRAS contains a broad-spectrum antiseptic (0.5% chlorhexidine acetate). Therefore, the dressing can be used for infection prophylaxis and treatment. Due to its white paraffin coating, BACTIGRAS acts as an adhesive barrier between the wound and the secondary dressing. This allows for atraumatic dressing changes for the patient. The open structure of the cotton gauze allows wound exudate to easily drain into an absorbent secondary dressing, such as a compress. A special weave prevents fraying when cutting the dressing.

Area of ​​application:
Bactigras is for external use only. Bactigras is suitable for a variety of wounds at risk of infection, or for infected wounds in conjunction with systemic antibiotic therapy. Bactigras can be used to treat minor burns and scalds, wounds with skin loss (lacerations, abrasions, excisions, and graft wounds), as well as leg ulcers.
