Barinutrics iron is based on iron bisglycinate, a chelate, i.e. a particularly well-absorbed form of iron, which is also very well tolerated by the stomach and intestines.
Barinutrition Iron Iron is present in the form of bivalent iron (Fe++).
It is the only form assimilated by our body.
In a vegetarian diet, iron is present in the form of trivalent iron (Fe+++) and therefore must be converted by the body into divalent iron.
The process takes place in an acidic environment, which is difficult due to surgery (gastric contents are less acidic).
