AHA fruit acids are the key to effective exfoliation of keratinized epidermis cells, facilitating effective peeling. Salt crystals gently but effectively remove hard epidermis from feet and knees, stimulating microcirculation and improving the appearance of the skin.

The action of AHA acids is to loosen the bonds of corneocytes, which leads to exfoliation of the outer stratum corneum.
