Claromed is an ocular lubricant in the form of a sterile gel, with a duopolymer system, containing carbomer and hyaluronic acid (hyaluron) in a proportion of 1%, specially formulated for veterinary use. Specially designed for ophthalmic use.

• Indications: Eye lubrication during anesthesia or as an adjuvant treatment for Dry Eye disease (Kheratoconjunctivitis Sicca).

• Ingredients: Purified water, sorbitol, carbomer 980, hyaluronic acid 1%, sodium hydroxide. Preservatives: disodium EDTA, cetrimide.
• Precautions: For veterinary use only. If the animal shows signs of ocular discomfort or local irritation, discontinue treatment and consult your veterinarian. The contents of the tube are sterile until the cap is first opened. To avoid contamination of the product, avoid touching the tip of the tube to the eyes, hands or other surfaces. The tube will be closed immediately after application of the treatment. Store at room temperature, in the original packaging. Do not use after 45 days from the first opening of the tube.

• How to use:
  • In Keratoconjunctivitis Sicca: instill 1-2 drops in the affected eye(s), 2-3 times a day or as often as recommended by your veterinarian.
  • Preoperatively: instill 1-2 drops directly onto the corneal surface or into the inferior conjunctival sac, in both eyes.
