The initial response period is 4 to 6 weeks; however, some dogs may respond sooner. If desired, after the initial response period, you can reduce the number of tablets to a maintenance level. The maintenance level can also be used long-term in healthy dogs to support their joints. Individual dog needs may vary. Dogs on a maintenance level can return to the initial level as needed, for example, on weekends or at other times when they are more active, to provide additional joint support.
