The new DOUXO® S3 Pyo shampoo contains chlorhexidine and the new ingredient Ophytrium , which has an even greater effect on the skin barrier. The new shampoo is available in a practical one-handed holder, which also allows for more precise dosing.

Douxo Pyo Chlorhexidine shampoo composition:

Gentle, hypoallergenic washing agents - pH=7 - Lipacids C8G (2.5%), Chlorhexidine (3%).

Properties of Douxo Pyo Chlorhexidine shampoo:

Chlorhexidine is bactericidal or bacteriostatic for Gram-positive and Gram-negative germs, and also fungistatic on most pathogenic fungi and yeasts. Lipacidul C8G is a rehydrating and restructuring agent, which allows the deposition, on the skin surface, of a lipoprotid film that persists after rinsing, thus avoiding drying and irritation of the skin. It also possesses a bacteriostatic activity that complements that of chlorhexidine.

Douxo Chlorhexidine shampoo indications:

For dogs and cats: adjuvant local treatment in cases of superficial and deep pyoderma, as well as dermatitis with Malassezia.

Method of administration and dosage:

Wet the coat thoroughly, apply Douxo Pyo Chlohexidine to the entire body and shampoo gently. Leave the foam to act for 5 - 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with water. It may be necessary to repeat the operation.

Frequency of administration: follow the advice of your veterinarian.
In general, 2-3 washes per week can be applied for 3-4 weeks, then continuing with one wash per week until the lesions disappear.

Precautions:

Do not swallow. Avoid contact with eyes. For ease of use, the bottle can be stored upside down.
