Handwashing: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before handling the menstrual cup.
Folding: Fold the menstrual cup according to your preferred folding technique (you can try the C-fold, U-fold, or tulip fold).
Insertion: Keep the cup folded and insert it into the vagina towards the back and slightly upwards. Make sure it is fully unfolded once inside.
Adjustment: Gently rotate the menstrual cup to ensure it is fully open and sealed against the vaginal walls.
Usage: The menstrual cup can stay in place for up to 12 hours. Empty and clean the cup every 4-12 hours, depending on your menstrual flow.
Removal: To remove the cup, gently insert your finger into the base to break the seal, then carefully pull it down. Empty the contents into the toilet and wash the cup before reinserting it.
Cleaning: After each menstrual cycle, wash the cup with water and mild soap. If necessary, sterilize the cup again before storing it.
