Enterol 250 mg is indicated: for the treatment of acute infectious diarrhea in adults and children, in the prevention and treatment of colitis and diarrhea caused by antibiotic use, in combination with vancomycin/metronidazole, for the prevention of recurrence of diseases caused by Clostridium difficile.
It is also indicated in the prevention of diarrhea caused by enteral nutrition and the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.

Do not take Enterol 250 mg:
if you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

If, after 2 days of treatment, diarrhea persists, the therapeutic approach should be reevaluated and intravenous rehydration should be considered.
Enterol 250 contains living cells.
This medicine should therefore not be combined with very hot (over 50oC) or very cold drinks or foods or with ethyl alcohol.
Treatment with Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 does not replace rehydration, when necessary.
The rehydration dose and route of administration (oral-IV) should be adapted to the severity of diarrhea, the age and health status of the patient.

Pregnancy, lactation and fertility:
If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
In animal studies, no teratogenic potential was demonstrated.
So far, the clinic has not
Fetotoxic or malformative effects have been reported. Due to insufficient data, it is recommended to avoid
the use of this medicine during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Driving and using machines:
Enterol 250 mg does not affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
The recommended dose is 1-2 Enterol 250 capsules, 1-2 times a day.
For children under 6 years of age, swallowing the capsules is not recommended (risk of aspiration), but opening and pouring the contents into drinks or food is recommended.

One capsule contains lyophilized Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 282.5 mg (contains lyophilized cells of Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745 250 mg) and excipients: lyophilized: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate; capsule: gelatin, titanium dioxide (E171).
