Description
Food supplement.
Folic acid supplementation increases maternal folate levels. Low maternal folate levels are a risk factor for the development of fetal neural tube defects. The product is intended for women of childbearing potential; the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily folic acid supplement of 400 mcg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. Fetal neural tube defects are due to multiple risk factors, and addressing any one of these factors may not have a beneficial effect. Folate contributes to the growth of maternal tissue during pregnancy.

Gluten and lactose free (<5 mg/100 g - detection limit of the ion chromatography method).

How to use
Take 1 capsule per day, with a glass of water, preferably in the morning.
