Description
Golden flax seeds are the golden flax (or budwig flax) seed. It is an oil plant with yellow flowers cultivated practically all over the world (also in Poland). The characteristics that distinguish golden flax seeds from brown ones are the higher content of protein and polyunsaturated fatty acids, including: alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and linoleic acid in favor of the former. It also has a more delicate taste.
Golden flax seeds - properties
A one-ingredient plant-based product Golden Flaxseed from the Natural Fiber Institute is a source of protein and high in dietary fiber. 100 g of product contain 25 g of omega-3 fatty acids. It can be used to prepare maceration or as an addition to muesli, salads and pastries.
