MEDiMAT

A medical device in the form of an anti-decubitus mat intended for use in prevention, the treatment of existing pressure ulcers, and in post-operative and post-traumatic conditions. The mat provides comfort and accelerates the recovery process. Made of innovative, breathable 3D knit fabric with Medical Airflow® technology, a special three-dimensional structure with increased air permeability, allowing moisture and heat to escape. Additionally, the material contains an active ingredient – ​​silver chloride – with antimicrobial properties, while the rubber straps attached to the product ensure a secure attachment of the mat to the mattress.

MEDiMAT is a specialized anti-decubitus mat based on modern Medical Airflow® technology, which utilizes three-dimensional, breathable 3D knit fabric. Thanks to the material's spatial structure, it provides exceptional air circulation and effectively reduces the risk of pressure ulcers. The MEDiMAT mat is a certified medical device designed to prevent and support the treatment of pressure ulcers, as well as for individuals undergoing post-operative or post-traumatic rehabilitation. It not only provides comfort and hygiene but also accelerates the recovery process. The material uses silver chloride, permanently integrated into the fabric. When moisture (e.g., sweat) is present, active silver ions go to work – they penetrate the bacterial membrane, blocking their vital functions, and effectively eliminating them. It is a natural and durable microbiological barrier that supports skin hygiene and regeneration.

Indications

It is suitable for: people who spend long periods of time in bed, pregnant women and people with excessive sweating.
