Microdacyn60 Wound Care

A medical device in the form of a solution intended for professional disinfection, rinsing, and wound healing. Its action is based on a unique technology that mimics the natural process of phagocytosis, used by the human immune system to destroy microorganisms. The solution contains reactive oxygen species, including a low, safe concentration of hypochlorous acid, which effectively destroy the cell walls of bacteria, viruses, and fungi, leading to their elimination. Microdacyn not only disinfects the wound but also supports its autolytic debridement, eliminates unpleasant odors, and creates an ideal, moist environment conducive to healing. Thanks to its exceptional biocompatibility and neutral pH, it is completely safe for healthy tissue, causes no irritation, and can even be used in contact with the eyes or mouth.

Product purpose

The Microdacyn medical device is intended for rinsing and disinfecting acute and chronic wounds, such as:

• ulcers (e.g. shin),
• pressure sores,
• wounds in the course of diabetic foot syndrome,
• burn wounds,
• postoperative wounds,
• traumatic and heavily contaminated wounds,
• cancerous ulcers.

It can also be used to rinse the outer ear, the conjunctiva of the eye, and to rinse the oral cavity.

Microdacyn is a product with unique properties that make it indispensable in modern wound care. Its key feature is its broad antimicrobial spectrum, covering bacteria (including MRSA and VRE), viruses, fungi, and spores, while maintaining complete safety for healthy cells. Thanks to its complete biocompatibility, confirmed by numerous tests, it is hypoallergenic, non-irritating, and non-cytotoxic. The product does not require rinsing, even from deep wounds, and is approved for use in negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT). Importantly, it does not cause bacterial resistance, and its action reduces unpleasant wound odor, significantly improving patient comfort.

How to use a medical device

1. Generously saturate a sterile gauze compress with Microdacyn solution.
2. Place the compress directly on the wound and leave it on for approximately 15 minutes. Repeat this procedure twice daily and at each dressing change.
3. Microdacyn can be used routinely instead of saline for wound cleansing.
4. If the dressing is dried, it should be generously soaked with the preparation to facilitate painless removal.

Contraindications and precautions
