They feature a fluid-impermeable blue non-woven backing to prevent leakage. The absorbent core of the dressings is extremely absorbent and can hold large quantities of fluid.
These absorbent dressings are also very effective for weeping wounds and can help accelerate the healing process. However, they must be sterilized using a validated procedure before use to ensure safe application.
