Laxative indicated in the treatment of occasional and chronic constipation in adults, adolescents and children.
It is based on polyethylene glycol (PEG) and psyllium. The combination of these substances, in the presence of liquids, exerts a mechanical laxative effect by increasing the volume of feces. The physiological consequence is an improvement in the propulsive progression of soft stools through the colon and an easier defecation.
No preservatives. Gluten free.

ingredients
Polyethylene glycol; psyllium seed husk (Plantago psyllium); guar gum; citric acid; orange flavor; silicon dioxide; sweeteners: sorbitol, acesulfame K, sucralose.

How to use
• Adults: 2 sachets per day, preferably morning and evening.
• Children and adolescents aged 6 to 14 years: 1 sachet per day.
Open a sachet and pour the contents into a 200 ml glass. Fill with plain water. Mix well for about 10 seconds and drink immediately after diluting the powder. Any thickening of the solution is a characteristic of the product. For best results, it is recommended to drink 1-2 glasses of water afterwards. It can be taken at any time of the day, at least half an hour before bedtime.
The duration of treatment is generally about 2 weeks. If your constipation is caused by a disease such as Parkinson's disease or multiple sclerosis, or if you are taking other products that cause constipation, your doctor may recommend taking the product for a longer period than 2 weeks. Long-term treatment generally requires one sachet per day.

When it should not be used
Do not use if:
• esophageal or gastrointestinal stenosis;
• intestinal blockage (intestinal obstruction, ileus);
• perforation of the intestinal wall;
• serious intestinal diseases, such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease or toxic megacolon;
• individual hypersensitivity to one of the product components.

Interactions with other products
Due to the increased gastrointestinal transit time induced by the product, concomitant use with other products or medications may temporarily reduce intestinal absorption. In addition, psyllium husks may enhance the effect of cholesterol-lowering products or medications. Therefore, in such circumstances, it is advisable to take the product at least two hours before or two hours after taking these products or medications; in any case, it is advisable to consult a doctor.

Side effects
The medical device is usually well tolerated because its mechanism of action is physical/mechanical and does not depend on systemic absorption.
During administration, side effects such as indigestion, stomach pain or rumbling, bloating, flatulence, nausea, vomiting, anal irritation and mild diarrhea may occur. These effects are improved by reducing the dose. If you experience an allergic reaction, discontinue use and contact your doctor. If you experience any side effects, inform your doctor or pharmacist.

Safety during pregnancy and lactation has not been established. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Avoid contact with eyes.

Storage and expiration
The expiry date is indicated on the packaging and on the sachet; it refers to the product in its intact packaging, stored correctly. Do not use after this date or if the packaging is opened or damaged.
Store the device tightly closed, in a cool, dry place, away from light and heat.
