NOW® Super Primrose Oil contains naturally occurring gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid also found in borage and blackcurrant seed oils. Although the human body can produce gamma-linolenic acid (GLA) from dietary linolenic acid, it may be better suited to support bodily functions when consumed directly. By supporting healthy immune responses, GLA may help maintain a healthy skin barrier and support a healthy vascular system. It can also be used as nutritional support to alleviate the discomfort associated with premenstrual syndrome.

Evening primrose seed oil (Oenothera biennis); capsule material: bovine gelatin; solubilizing agent: vegetable glycerin, water.
