Pai Mu Tan white tea comes from China's Hunan province and has large leaves with silver tips. White tea is rich in polyphenols, compounds with antioxidant properties that help reduce inflammation and fight free radicals. It is also a great source of fluoride, catechins, and tannins, compounds that combat plaque on our teeth.
Origin of Pai Mu Tan White Tea
Renowned for its delicate aroma and refreshing properties, white tea is a specialty of Fujian province in China. Traditionally, it has only been made from exceptionally high-quality harvests and was once reserved for emperors and high-ranking officials of the Chinese Empire. These teas are among the least processed of all teas.
