Giardia Lamblia Rapid Test for Dogs and Cats (Feces)

Description
Test designed for the detection of Giardia Lamblia antigens in stool.
Two antibodies in the kit specifically bind to different epitopes of the antigens. After being absorbed by the cellulose membrane, the Giardia lamblia antigens migrate and bind to the anti-Giardia colloidal gold complex on the conjugate membrane, forming an Ab-Ag complex. This complex then forms an Ab-Ag-Ab sandwich by direct binding to another anti-Giardia monoclonal antibody on the nitrocellulose membrane.

How to use
Collect the stool with a swab and insert it into the extraction tube containing 1 ml of extraction solution.
Do not use wet or crowded chairs.
Mix the extraction solution and buffer solution. Add 4 drops of sample (100 mcL) to the sample well (S) on the test cassette.
Read results after 5-10 minutes. Results read after 10 minutes are considered invalid.

Interpretation of results
POSITIVE: Both the control line (C) and the test line (T) appear. The presence of Giardia antigens causes the test line to appear.

NEGATIVE: only the control line (C) appears, while the test line (T) does not appear.

INVALID: Control line (C) does not appear. Insufficient sample amount or incorrect procedures may cause control line (C) not to appear. Retesting is recommended.

Use within 10 minutes of opening the package as the test kit is very sensitive to moisture.
Be careful not to touch the results window.
Each sample must be added with a different pipettor.
Use the extraction solution provided in the test package.
Handle the sample with care. It may contain unknown viruses or bacterial infections.
Wear disposable gloves when handling the sample. Always wash your hands after handling the sample.
Discard solid waste after sterilizing it at 121°C for more than 1 hour.
Do not use the kit if the packaging is damaged or if the expiration date has passed.

Conservation
Store at 2-30°C. Do not refrigerate.
Shelf life in intact packaging: 24 months.
