Sidroga Lemon Balm Leaf Tea Bags, 20 x 1.5 g of tea
Description
Lemon balm has been used in herbal medicine for over 2000 years. Nervous restlessness and difficulty falling asleep are now recognized uses of lemon balm.
Nervous restlessness and difficulty falling asleep are recognized uses of lemon balm today. In addition to its calming (sedative) properties, lemon balm also exhibits spasmolytic (antispasmodic) and mildly carminative (anti-flatulent) effects. Due to the sedative and spasmolytic properties of lemon balm leaves, it can also be used for nervous stomach problems and gallbladder disorders. Lemon balm also provides relief for nervous heart palpitations. Even Paracelsus praised lemon balm as the best herb for the heart.
The antiviral properties are due to certain tannins (phenolic acids). The medicinal lemon balm (Melissa officinalis) used by Sidroga is also known as lemon balm because of its characteristic lemon scent. A pronounced lemon aroma also indicates a high essential oil content and therefore particularly high quality.
Nervous sleep disturbances; functional gastrointestinal complaints. For nervous heart complaints and functional circulatory weakness; as a diaphoretic for colds; to stimulate bile production.
