Description
Highly viscous solution of pure hyaluronic acid produced by fermentation:
- highly viscous solution of pure hyaluronic acid produced by fermentation,
- hyaluronic acid is a natural part of synovial fluid,
- plays a major role in maintaining the physiological environment of the joint,
- as a substitute for synovial fluid,
- helps to normalize joint function in osteoarthritis.
Mode of use
Depending on the size of the joint, up to 2 ml can be administered intra-articularly. The recommended schedule is 1 injection per week for 3 weeks up to 2 ml is administered in the affected joint using aseptic technique. When using an overfilled syringe, remove the Luer cap, connect a suitable cannula and secure with a slight twist.
