These breathable dressings offer excellent water vapor permeability while providing optimal protection against microorganisms and fluids. Their transparency allows for continuous wound monitoring without disturbing the wound. They are ideally suited for the treatment of superficial wounds such as abrasions, skin lacerations, blisters, or burns, as well as surgical wounds and for pressure ulcer prevention. They can be used as a secondary dressing in combination with 3M Tegaderm Alginate or 3M Tegaderm Hydrogel, or for securing 3M Tegaderm Foam/3M Tegaderm Hydrocolloid wound dressings.
