Termcool ® cooling gel is suitable for first degree burns caused by flame, boiling water or steam. A topical cooling preparation is also a good solution for skin burns resulting from excessive sunbathing and using tanning beds.
Termcool® – first aid for burns
The medical device with Termcool® gel contains, among other things, menthol. When used immediately after a burn, it has an immediate cooling effect. This reduces the sensation of pain in the area irritated or damaged by high temperature.
A small tube with a capacity of 30g will fit in any travel first aid kit and will help with minor burns.
