Varihesive Extra Thin is a hydrocolloid dressing for the management of low-exuding wounds. Varihesive Extra Thin combines the unique ConvaTec hydrocolloid formulation, which distinguishes it from other hydrocolloid dressings, with a water vapor-impermeable film to create an occlusive, moist wound environment.
Composition:
- Wound contact layer: Triple – hydrocolloid matrix consisting of sodium carboxymethylcellulose, pectin, gelatin.
- Outer layer: Polyurethane – film.
- This product does not contain latex.
Indication:
Primary dressing for all dry to moist acute and chronic wounds. Varihesive Extra Thin is particularly suitable for:
- skin abrasions
- Cuts
- Skin fissures
- Skin protection, e.g., intertrigo prophylaxis
