When to start testing:

• First, check the length of your menstrual cycle
• It is the number of days from the first day of menstrual bleeding to the day before the next bleeding starts.
• According to the table, choose the day from the beginning of your period when you start testing
• If your cycle is shorter than 21 days or longer than 38 days, consult your doctor
• If you do not know your cycle length, start testing 11 days after the first day of bleeding, as the average cycle length is 28 days.

Urine analysis:

• Do not use morning urine samples for the test, as the level of LH will not appear in the urine until later in the day.

• Unlike pregnancy tests, ovulation tests are never done with morning urine
• To reliably determine ovulation, the test must be performed every day for 5 consecutive days
