The Damask rose bush is small and spiny, 1 to 2 meters tall. Its distinctive aromatic flowers are usually pink or white. This flower is most often used by perfumers for its floral and surprisingly fresh scent.

The pink wax from the Damask rose is rare and is obtained through a long harvest and a precise extraction process. One ton of these flowers is needed for one kilogram of rose wax. Together with jojoba oil, they form one of the most prominent components of the Riche Créme range.
