The COSMOPOR sterile wound dressing is a self-adhesive, sterile dressing for the reliable protection of postoperative and primarily healing wounds. It is suitable for absorbing exudate from normally exuding wounds, thus ensuring a clean wound environment. The dressing can also be used to protect wounds after treatments such as disinfection or wound cleansing.

Application areas

COSMOPOR sterile is designed for the protection of surgical wounds after operations. It is also suitable for wounds that are healing primarily and exuding a normal amount of wound fluid. The dressing can also be used to cover and protect the treated area after minor procedures or wound care.

Application

Clean and care for the wound according to your healthcare provider's instructions before applying the dressing. Remove the protective film and position the self-adhesive dressing so that the wound pad completely covers the wound. Press the dressing down gently to ensure it adheres well. Change the dressing as needed, depending on the condition of the wound and the recommendations of your doctor or pharmacist.
