Our Whey Protein (Whey PROtein+) is pure whey protein concentrate (WPC) obtained through ultra-microfiltration via membranes. This protein is characterized by its high solubility, even at an acidic pH (stomach), allowing for rapid digestion (Wilson J. et al., JISSN. 2006) without digestive issues. It quickly delivers amino acids into the bloodstream (hyperaminoacidemia) so they can be used by muscle cells for recovery, both post-workout and throughout the day. Furthermore, and most importantly, we have enhanced its formula by adding the branched-chain amino acid Leucine in sufficient quantity to ensure we reach at least the 3 g/serving recommended by science to activate the mTOR pathway, which induces protein synthesis and thus optimizes muscle recovery processes (Jäger R. et al., JISSN. 2017). We have also added L-Glutamine, as this amino acid, among other functions, appears to improve the functioning of the immune system by serving as fuel (Calder PC et al., AA. 1999), primarily for macrophages and lymphocytes. Furthermore, whey protein supplementation itself can also benefit the immune system, since amino acids are signaling molecules that, among other things, regulate lymphocyte function (Bumrungpert A. et al., JMF. 2018). The amount per serving is 5.9 g, including the added protein and the precursors naturally present in whey protein. Because it is obtained through ultra-microfiltration through membranes, the protein does not suffer any deterioration or loss of essential amino acids, such as lysine, which is the amino acid most sensitive to heat.
