Description
Unrefined avocado oil, pure, 100 ml, Sanflora [5942010140084]
100% natural avocado oil obtained by mechanical pressing of the pulp of the avocado fruit, followed by filtration through diatomaceous earth and then steam deodorization. The oil thus obtained has a yellow color and a neutral smell.
Texture : "fatty", nourishing oil; it penetrates the skin faster than olive oil, but slower than macadamia oil, for example
Composition:
Oleic acid: 59.8%
Linoleic acid: 13.8%
Palmitic acid: 16.8%
Palmitoleic acid: 7.5% (acid indispensable for the normal texture of mature skin, which decreases with age)
Stearic acid: 0.7%
Linolenic acid: 0.7%
Unsaponifiable substances: 0.9%
Vitamins A, D, E and lecithin
Other unsaponifiable substances (phytosterols): reduce inflammation, redness or skin irritation
Properties and indications:
Avocado oil is a superior oil with remarkable moisturizing, nourishing and regenerative properties mainly due to its rich content of fat-soluble vitamins (A, D, E), lecithin and the very valuable unsaponifiable substances. It is a powerful emollient with anti-wrinkle, antibacterial and antioxidant properties. It leaves a protective film on the skin
It can also be used in very sensitive areas, such as the area around the eyes; it is an eye contour product in itself
Rich in monounsaturated fats, avocado oil is a stable oil that will soften and revitalize rough, dry or chapped skin. In case of dermatitis, it helps to remove dry cells and restore the skin's hydrolipidic film
Avocado oil has the ability to penetrate the layers of the skin deeper than most oils, which allows it to carry nutrients
It can be used both for the face and the body
It is suitable for all skin types, but mature, sensitive or problematic skin will benefit the most from its qualities
It has natural UV absorption properties (but we do not advise you to use it as the only sun protection factor, but in combination with a sun filter)
Stimulates collagen metabolism and contributes through this mechanism to diminishing the effects of skin aging (natural or through excessive exposure to the sun)
The high level of fatty acids make it keep the optimal hydration of the skin despite the action of external factors. Native American populations traditionally used it to protect the skin from the sun and wind
It helps to soothe and restore wind-chapped or sunburned skin
It is a good solubilizer of make-up, sebum, dead cells and other oily substances on the skin - these qualities make it an excellent remover
For hair:
Thanks to its rich content of fat-soluble vitamins, it nourishes and gives shine to dry hair or hair damaged by aggressive cosmetic treatments
It is a good hair emollient and helps reduce the incidence of split ends
Used in a small amount on the hair, it has an antistatic effect (caution, a small amount!)
Protects hair from sun and wind
For dry scalp: gently massage the avocado oil until completely absorbed. It helps to remove the scales characteristic of seborrheic dermatitis and to properly relipidize the scalp
Use :
Used as such, as a massage oil for the whole body; apply to clean and still wet skin after showering
That the hair mask: apply to wet hair and possibly dry the hair with the dryer at a not very high temperature; leave the oil on the hair (which is covered with a towel) during the night and wash it in the morning. Applied several times a week, this treatment will revitalize tired, brittle or dull hair
In products intended for application around the eyes or other sensitive areas
In products for mature, dry or sensitive skin
Fatty creams and emollients for cracked hands or heels
soaps; added in percentage of 5% of the total amount of oils gives a creamy and extremely fine soap
