Flector

Flector is available in several pharmaceutical forms:

• Gel in 60 g and 100 g packages, easy to apply, rapidly absorbed, without odor and greasy residue.
• Patches in packs of 5 pieces, providing continuous release of the active ingredient for 12-24 hours.
• Soft capsules, each capsule containing 25 mg diclofenac epolamine, for the symptomatic treatment of mild to moderate pain.

Flector is recommended for:

• Post-traumatic injuries and trauma to tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints.
• Inflammatory and degenerative rheumatic conditions.
• Spinal pain.
• Post-operative inflammation and edema.
• Headaches, dental pain, muscular and rheumatic (soft capsule) pain.

The dosage regimen depends on the form of release and the needs of the patient.

• Gel - Apply a thin layer to the affected area 2-4 times daily, gently massaging until absorbed.
• Patches - 1-2 patches per day, depending on the patient's needs, applied directly to the painful area.
• Soft capsules - 1-3 capsules a day, depending on the severity of the pain, taken during or after a meal.

Flector is contraindicated in the following cases:

• Hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any of the components of the product
• History of severe allergic reactions to aspirin or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
• Use in coronary artery bypass surgery
• Patients with a history of gastric ulcer or severe gastrointestinal bleeding
• Children under 6 years of age for patches and gel and under 14 years of age for capsules

If you suffer from severe chronic diseases such as kidney or liver failure, seek medical advice before using Flector.

Flector gel provides effective topical treatment, significantly reducing the impact on the body compared to oral forms of diclofenac.

The patches provide a controlled and gradual release, minimizing systemic exposure (only 3-6% reaches the bloodstream).

Like any medication, Flector can cause side effects, including:

• Local reactions: redness, itching, skin irritation
• Rare systemic reactions: gastrointestinal upset (heartburn, nausea), dizziness, headache
• Severe allergic reactions (very rare): angioneurotic edema, anaphylactic reactions.

If unpleasant symptoms occur, stop taking and consult your doctor.

Diclofenac in Flector may interact with certain medicines such as:

• Blood-thinning medicines: increased risk of bleeding
• Antihypertensive drugs: reduced effectiveness
• Corticosteroids: increased risk of gastrointestinal ulceration.

Avoid alcohol during treatment to reduce the risk of gastric irritation.

Overdosage with Flector gel or patches is unlikely due to topical application, but in the case of Flector capsules, systemic effects such as nausea, vomiting, severe abdominal pain and in extreme cases renal failure may occur.

In case of overdose, immediate medical treatment is necessary.

Flector should be stored at temperatures below 25°C, away from direct light and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children. Observe the shelf life stated on the packaging.
