Hepiflor

Basic principles of healthy digestion: what helps keep your stomach healthy
Description Hepiflor
The information in the FAQ section was created by the Liki24.co.uk team and is based on the official manufacturer's manual
Hepiflor is a probiotic with a high content of live cultures, recommended in combination with oral antibiotic treatment to restore the intestinal flora and eliminate transition disorders that may occur as a result of antibiotic treatment (antibiotic-associated diarrhoea).
What does Hepiflor contain?
Hepiflor capsules contain 10 billion live cultures per capsule and have high viability due to their resistance to gastric acidity and bile salts. Hepiflor capsules contain Lactobacillus acidophilus HA-1223, Bifidobacterium bifidum HA-1323 and Lactobacillus casei HA-1083, which have the property of maintaining the same number of bacteria after 3 hours at a temperature of 37 degrees Celsius at a pH of 3 (4 in the case of Bifidobacterium bifidum HA-1323).
Hepiflor for babies and children contains 5 billion beneficial live cultures per sachet to rebalance the intestinal flora. Hepiflor for babies and children contains Lactobacillus Rhamnosus HA-111, Bifidobacterium Infantis HA-116 and Lactobacillus acidophilus HA-122, which ensure resistance to gastric acidity and bile salts, ensuring that they reach the intestine in large numbers, where they act.
Hepiflor for babies and children can help relieve colic and digestive irritability.
How is Hepiflor administered? Should Hepiflor be taken before or after antibiotics?
Hepiflor capsules should be taken throughout the entire course of antibiotic treatment. It is recommended to take 1-2 Hepiflor capsules per day, at least 2 hours after taking antibiotics.
Hepiflor for babies and children should be taken in the following doses:
- For children under one year of age, 1 sachet per day, at least 2 hours after taking antibiotics, throughout the course of antibiotic treatment;
- For children over one year of age, 1-2 sachets per day, at least 2 hours after taking antibiotics, throughout the course of antibiotic treatment.
The contents of the sachet can be dissolved in a glass of milk, tea or warm water and consumed immediately after dissolution.
Hepiflor for babies and children can also be used by adults who prefer to take medicines in the form of sachets dissolved in liquid.
Both Hepiflor capsules and Hepiflor for babies and children should be used for one week after the end of antibiotic treatment.
Contraindications Hepiflor
Hepiflor may contain traces of soy and milk derivatives, so it is not recommended for people with known allergies to these products.
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
