Uribene is a dietary supplement with a composition based on plant extracts, namely American cranberry extract (dry extract of Vaccinium macrocarpon) and dry extract of Ursolia (Salvia Officinalis).

This plant has a stomachic effect (through bitter principles), oestrogenic, emmenagogue, hypoglycaemic (through tannins, reducing glucose absorption), antiseptic, choleretic, spasmolytic (through volatile oils and flavonoid derivatives). It is used in dyspeptic syndrome, bloating, anorexia, climacteric disorders, viral infections, hyperhidrosis, or as a symptomatic treatment in gingivitis, stomatitis, laryngitis, pharyngitis.

American cranberry extract (Vaccinium macrocarpon) is a rich source of bioflavonoids, phenolic compounds and other natural substances. Cranberries contain natural antioxidants that help protect cells and tissues from free radicals.

Cranberry extract also contains proanthocyanidols, which adhere to the fimbriae proteins of E. coli, surrounding, isolating and interfering with the adhesion of the bacteria to the epithelial cells of the urinary tract.
