DracoFoam Infekt haft sensitiv is a polyhexanide-containing foam dressing for the silver-free control of infections in chronic and acute wounds with intact surrounding skin. The dressing ensures high exudate absorption and evaporation rates and is ideally suited for combating wound infections. The wound antiseptic polyhexanide (PHMB) in the polyurethane foam is effective against germs. PHMB is not absorbed, does not lead to resistance development, and is known for its excellent tissue compatibility, making DracoFoam Infekt haft sensitiv a particularly gentle dressing for patients. The foam dressing is also suitable for sensitive surrounding skin and, thanks to its germ-proof, breathable surface, reliably protects the wound from external influences. The conformable, bielastic membrane ensures that the dressing adheres reliably, even to difficult areas. Thanks to its sensitive silicone technology, the dressing is well-tolerated even on fragile surrounding skin: the adhesive is repositionable and conforms completely to the skin surface, ensuring optimal adhesion across the entire adhesive area and preventing any area of ​​skin from being overstressed during removal. This sensitive silicone technology facilitates gentle, atraumatic removal of the dressing while maintaining excellent adhesion. DracoFoam Infekt haft sensitive is suitable for acute and chronic, critically colonized or infected wounds with moderate to high exudate levels, such as superficial wounds like leg ulcers (venous, arterial), pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, second-degree burns, and donor sites. The dressing is suitable for compression therapy.
