It is a concentrated medical cream gel for the treatment and hydration of vulnerable skin, by regulating moisture, immediately after wound closure.
It is suitable for post-burn medical care, helping to prevent scarring and reducing skin itching and redness.
It is a pure, freshly processed gel of Aloe Vera, oils and high quality ingredients such as jojoba oil, Vitamin E and Vitamin C.
The product is hypoallergenic and fragrance-free.

Indications:
Alhydran gel-cream was created for the care and treatment of newly scarred and vulnerable skin.
- sensitive skin care after radiotherapy, laser treatments and peelings.
- reduction of itching and treatment of (very) dry skin.

What are the effects of Alhydran gel-cream:
Aftercare of burns:

• Alhydran gel-cream has a therapeutic effect on recently closed wounds, in the case of care after burns (deep or first degree) and skin transplants.
• Alhydran gel-cream reduces itching and redness and gives elasticity to the skin. It helps to avoid the formation of scars.

In preventing the formation of scars:

• If Alhydran gel-cream is used immediately after wound closure, the skin will remain elastic and receive optimal care to prevent scarring.
• In the case of hypertrophic keloid scars, Alhydran gel-cream is an excellent addition to subsequent scar treatment.
• Alhydran gel-cream reduces the itching and redness of scars.

Administration method:
In the treatment of sensitive skin immediately after wound closure:

• Alhydran gel-cream is intended for the treatment of closed wounds in case of acute and chronic wounds.
• Alhydran gel-cream moisturizes the skin, gives it elasticity and helps to avoid scar formation.

In case of treatment of (very) dry skin:

• Alhydran gel-cream moisturizes the skin and gives it elasticity and reduces itching.
• It can also be used for (very) dry, irritated and sensitive skin.

Use:

• Apply Alhydran gel-cream at least 3 times a day or whenever itching occurs or when the skin becomes dry or irritated.
• Apply Alhydran in a thin layer and massage slowly until it is completely absorbed by the skin.
• Do not apply Alhydran to open wounds.
• You should not use Alhydran if you have a severe allergy to any of the product's components.
• It can be used very well together with silicone sheets, elastic stockings and compresses.
