Vitamin B12 is indicated for use in dogs and cats as an adjuvant in the treatment of the following conditions:

- Anemias,
- Chronic enteropathies (especially in cats),
- Hemorrhages of various etiologies, etc.

COMPOSITION

Additives per kg: Vitamin B12: 960,000 µg (equivalent to 500 µg per tablet). Analytical constituents: Crude protein: 11.8% - Crude fat: 4.1% - Crude ash: 16.8% - Crude fibre: 45.2% - Moisture: 3.05% - Sodium: 0.24% - Phosphorus: 0.2% - Potassium: 0.2%. Magnesium carbonate - Processed proteins of animal origin.

THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS
Vitamin B12 is indicated for use in dogs and cats as an adjuvant in the treatment of the following conditions:
- Anemias,
- Chronic enteropathies (especially in cats),
- Hemorrhages of various etiologies,
- Hemosporidiosis ( Babesia spp ; Haemobartonella spp)
- Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency,
- Cholangitis,
- Short bowel syndrome,
- Central and peripheral neuropathy,
- Immunodeficiency,
- Hepatic steatosis

METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Oral route.

Daily dose during the initial period:
up to 10kg: half a tablet per day,
between 10 and 20 kg: one tablet per day,
over 20 kg: two tablets per day.

The maintenance dose will be subsequently established by the veterinarian according to the results obtained for cobalaminemia.

Generally, appetite suppressants are swallowed spontaneously. Otherwise, it is sufficient to incorporate them into food, whole or crushed.

The very low levels of phosphorus, potassium and sodium are compatible with diets for patients suffering from heart or kidney failure.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
Allergy to cyanocobalamin.
