The Suplasyn® medical device contains sterile hyaluronic acid with an optimal molecular weight of 500-1000 KDa.

It is available in a pre-filled syringe, ready for injection.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of synovial fluid and plays a key role in maintaining the internal, physiological environment of the joint.

Suplasyn® 1-Shot 60 mg/6 ml Pre-filled Syringes - When to Use?

Suplasyn® is used for the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis. Intra-articular injections of hyaluronic acid protect and improve joint function and regenerate joint cartilage.

The medical device is administered directly into joints affected by osteoarthritis, e.g., the knee or hip.

Indications: 

• Symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis
• Protection and improvement of joint function.

Ingredients:

• A viscoelastic solution with a specific molecular weight of purified hyaluronic acid, obtained through a fermentation process
• 1 pre-filled syringe contains: sodium hyaluronic acid 60 mg, excipients for the volume.

How to use: 

• Depending on the size of the joint, doses up to 6 ml can be administered intra-articularly
• Application should be performed at the dose and frequency determined by the prescribing physician.

Contraindications:

• Do not administer to patients with known hypersensitivity reactions
• Do not use in patients with joint inflammation/irritation
• Do not use in pregnant or breastfeeding women, children, or infants.

Important instructions:

• Keep out of reach of children
• For use by a physician only
• Single-use only
• Discard the syringe with the partially used preparation
• Reuse may result in a risk of contamination and/or infection, or cross-infection in the patient
• Store at a temperature between 4 and 25°C
• Do not freeze
• Avoid using the product with instruments sterilized with solutions of quaternary ammonium salts.
