Suprasorb P + PHMB with its perforated wound contact layer is distinguished by its reliable exudate absorption. The PHMB embedded in the foam is effective both within the dressing and in the wound. For this reason, Suprasorb P + PHMB is classified as a Class III medical device. The material is soft and conformable. The special surface texture of the wound contact layer of Suprasorb P + PHMB is gentle on easily damaged surfaces such as healing wounds. The semi-permeable PU backing layer maintains a moist wound environment. It is bacteria- and water-resistant. Suprasorb P + PHMB is suitable for use under compression bandages.
