The hypotonic aqueous solution with neutral pH is sterile and can be used in the eyes even when wearing contact lenses.

Thealoz® Duo – relief from dry eye syndrome.

Thealoz® Duo eye drops contain trehalose at a concentration of 3%. This ingredient has a protective effect, supports the regeneration of the ocular surface and has antioxidant properties. The addition of 0.15% sodium hyaluronate ensures that the drops intensively moisturize the eyeball. At the same time, the bioadhesive properties of sodium hyaluronate ensure better adhesion of the preparation to the surface of the eye, providing long-lasting relief to the eyes and shortening the healing time of the corneal epithelium.

Thealoz® Duo drops were placed in a multidose bottle of ABAK®. Its use has allowed the elimination of preservatives from the composition of the preparation. The bottle is equipped with a built-in filter membrane that allows the contents of the bottle to remain sterile for a period of 2 to 3 months while maintaining the traditional and convenient way of instilling eye drops for the patient.

Thealoz® Duo eye drops prevent irritation by protecting and hydrating the tissues of the surface of the eyeball. The preparation guarantees immediate comfort that lasts throughout the day.

• Drops recommended for discomfort, burning and irritation of the eyes*, which can be caused by wind, smoke, pollution, dust, sunny or freezing weather, dry air, air conditioning, air travel and long-term work in front of a computer monitor
• As an adjunct in the treatment of moderate to severe dry eye syndrome
• A medical device also suitable for pregnant and breastfeeding women and children.

Ingredients:

Trehalose 3 g, sodium hyaluronate 0.15 g, sodium chloride, trometamol, hydrochloric acid, water for injections up to 100 ml.

How to use:

• Adults: 1 drop in each eye, 4 to 6 times a day
• Before instilling the preparation, wash your hands thoroughly
• Instill one drop in the lower conjunctival sac, tilting the lower eyelid slightly and looking upwards
• After use, close the bottle
• Thealoz® Duo can also be used by contact lens wearers, regardless of the type of lens
• You can apply drops to the concave part of the lens when putting it on or taking it off, as well as as often as necessary while wearing it.

Precautions:

• You should wait at least 10 minutes between using two different eye preparations
• The drops can be used for up to 3 months after first opening the package
• Store below 25°C.

Contraindications:

• Do not use Thealoz® Duo if you are allergic to any of the ingredients
• *In case of very persistent discomfort, the preservative-free eye gel Thealoz® Duo Gel can also be used at night.

Warnings:

• Do not use the product if the bottle is damaged
• Do not touch the surface of the eye with the tip of the dropper
• Do not inject, do not swallow.
